• Being Taught From My Gambling Errors

1st to explain the reason I wrote this essay. I have been wagering on the net or at land based betting houses for a great many years. I have learned, the dependency can take a hold of you and you won’t even realize it until you are broke. Especially if you are on a winning streak. I have gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in only a short period of time and to this day on occasion, I will go too far. It appears you’re just having a blast until you decide to pay attention to your defeats and the anguish sets in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can win it back" constantly. It does not works. Then you feel sick in your gut and the harder you attempt the quicker you lose.

When you see that you are ahead, STAY on the UP! When you begin to lose, do not tell yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and over and over again, believe me, this logic hardly ever functions. Say you are playing on slots, have an amount set aside before beginning your action. Don’t exceed that limit, regardless how alluring. If you happen to win, put that in a separate pot. Do not risk your profits no matter what. As soon as you’ve played through your primary set limit, bail out. Leave, whether it is on the internet or at a brick and mortar casino, don’t stay around. Always keep in mind, there will be a different day, a different time.

Remember, betting is assumed to be FUN not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If youcannot afford the loss, don’t even start.
