• Do Not Drink … Play!

    [ English ]

If you like to have a beverage from time to time, keep your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your purse, your money belt, and keep all cash, plastic credit and cheques back at the hotel. Take whatever cash you anticipate to spend on drinks, tips and few dollars you anticipate to squander and keep the remainder behind.

Contemptuous? Not at all. Realistic more like. You can experience a success after a boozy evening out with your friends and be blessed enough to hit a marathon roll at a hot craps game. Hang on to that account because it is as short-lived as it gets if you continuously consume alcohol and bet. The two simply do not mix.

Leaving your money back at the hotel is a tiny bit excessive, but defensive actions for drastic actions is required. If you play to succeed, then don’t drink alcohol and play. If you are able to afford to throw away your $$$$ nary a concern, then consume all the no charge alcohol your stomach can handle, but don’t carry plastic credit and cheques to throw into the mix of going after losses after your drunken brain throws away everything!

Let me to take this one step further. Don’t drink and then go on the net to bet in your favorite internet casino either. I enjoy a drink from the comfort of my home, but since I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit in close proximity, I can’t drink and gamble.

Why? Although I do not consume alcohol to excess, when I consume alcohol, it is clearly adequate to befuddle my common sense. I gamble, so I do not consume alcohol when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, do not bet at the same time. The two mix up for a decimating, and costly, cocktail.
